For the past few months, 8th graders at the Middle School partnered with NHS 11th graders in a Pen Pal program called Pioneer Partners. This program paired 8th graders with 11th graders and gave them the opportunity to write letters back and forth. These letters addressed the student's interest but also included questions the 8th graders had about coming to the High School next year. The 11th graders had great advice about classes, activities and tips on making the transition easier. On June 9th, the 40 students who participated in this program got to finally meet face to face and enjoy breakfast together in the High School.
