January 5th Through 9th. The grade eight health class worked towards the Alcohol Assessment. Each student should have five lesson outlines that highlight important information covered throughout the alcohol chapter. The five lesson outlines are as follows; Why Alcohol is Harmful, Short-Term Effects of Alcohol Use, Long-Term Effects of Alcohol Use, Alcohol Abuse & Alcoholism, Getting For Alcohol Abuse. All of the information needed to study for the Alcohol Assessment is included in the five lesson outlines. For the assessment, each student will be given a note card. The students should put information they feel will be on the assessment onto their note card. Students will be allowed to use their note card as a resource while taking the assessment. Students are encouraged to study all five lesson outlines as well as the alcohol-related prezis to prepare for the assessment. Also, any lesson outline that does not have a grade on it, should be turned in to be graded. Any lesson outline without a grade is currently a zero. In other news, any student that has not turned in their alcohol research prezi should do so as soon as possible. The alcohol research prezi is a major assessment grade.
